My name is Vineet Raju. 
I hold a bachelor's degree in Media Arts majoring in animation from Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver, Canada.

I greatly believe in animation as a true art form, as a medium of expression for the artist. Over time I've come to appreciate the different stages involved in creating a film. And from all the other visual elements I particularly enjoy storyboarding.        

If animating is crafting a great performance, storyboarding is about sculpting the rhythms, tone and beats in the story and overall storytelling that sets the stage for those great character performances.

I know now that a great film needs a great story and all great stories begins with random ideas that conjures up a strong, arresting or amusing image. Ideas are currency when it comes to story, I love that.

This site is a place where I place, through my storyboards, the stories that I've worked on as well as the bits of research I've made into better storytelling.
