A ball that can see.
We created a ball that can see. One That could capture the world’s largest sporting event from a never before seen POV: the 360 degree perspective of the official 2014 World Cup match ball, the Brazuca.
We joined forces with adidas and Deep Local to design the Brazucam, a football filled with cameras that could capture content, collect data, stream live and be strong enough to withstand the best footballers in the world.
We launched it with a 360 degree YouTube interactive film allowing the viewer to go inside the ball, controlling whichever direction they wanted to look. Then, we sent it around the world to capture seven weeks of content in a never before seen countdown to the World Cup.
1 billion global media impressions.
10+ interactions per visit (5x industry standard).
Sold out brazucas.
Massive global media coverage.
Oh, and one bad ass ball.
